Welcome to 9trend.app (the "Platform"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and related services.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you enter into a legally binding agreement with 9trend.app ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

1. Who Can Use the Platform

To use 9trend.app, you must meet the following criteria:

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country).
• If you are under 18, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
• You must not be prohibited from receiving our services under applicable laws.
• Your account must not have been previously terminated by us for violating our policies.

2. Account Creation and Security

• Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Account Safety: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Single Account: Users are generally permitted one active account unless explicit permission is granted for business or brand profiles.

3. User Content and Intellectual Property Rights

• Your Content Ownership: You retain ownership of the videos, audio, photos, and text you upload.
• License to Us: By posting content, you grant 9trend.app a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, copy, stream, modify, adapt, publish, and display your content to provide and promote the Platform.
• Public Distribution: Other users may view, share, download, or stitch your public content based on your privacy settings.
• Music and Audio: You may only use music or sounds provided by our official library or audio you own the full rights to use commercially.

4. Creator Monetization and Virtual Gifting

Creators can monetize their content on 9trend.app through virtual gifting, ad revenue sharing, or creator funds.

• Eligibility: To unlock monetization, you must be at least 18 years old, meet our minimum follower/view thresholds, and pass identity verification.
• Virtual Gifts: Users can purchase virtual currency ("Coins") to send virtual gifts to creators during live streams or on videos. Coins and gifts have no cash value and cannot be refunded.
• Diamonds and Cash-Out: Received gifts are converted into virtual points ("Diamonds") in the creator's wallet. Creators can exchange Diamonds for actual fiat currency payout.
• Payout Rules: Payouts are processed via certified third-party payment gateways (including bank transfers and mobile money gateways). You are responsible for any applicable local taxes or transaction fees.
• Forfeiture: We reserve the right to withhold, cancel, or reclaim payout funds if you violate our Community Guidelines, engage in financial fraud, or use artificial views/likes to manipulate earnings.

5. Acceptable Use and Community Rules

You agree not to engage in activities that harm the community or platform infrastructure. Prohibited actions include:

• Uploading content that violates our Content Moderation Policy.
• Using automated tools (bots, scrapers, spiders) to harvest data or fake engagement.
• Engaging in financial crimes, online scams (such as "Yahoo Yahoo"), or phishing.
• Impersonating another person, celebrity, or brand.
• Interfering with the security or proper performance of the Platform.

6. Termination and Suspension

• By You: You can delete your account at any time through the app settings.
• By Us: We may suspend or permanently terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, repeatedly violate copyright laws, or pose a legal risk to the Platform.
• Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases, and any unredeemed virtual diamonds or pending payouts may be forfeited.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• "As Is" Basis: The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the app will always be safe, secure, or error-free.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, 9trend.app shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• Governing Law: For users globally, these Terms are governed by general international commercial legal principles. For users residing in Nigeria, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
• Arbitration: Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through mutual consultation. If unresolved, it shall be settled via binding arbitration in accordance with local arbitration laws.
